Bussin Butters

As a parent, your worst nightmare is when your child ends up in the hospital with a chronic illness. For us, that came true when our son Mason was just two years old and diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.

After many sleepless nights fighting Mason's low sugar, we we got to work crafting the perfect night time treat. Our family has been in the food manufacturing business for over 60 years, so we did some research and started making our own peanut butter treats. They were such a big hit with friends and family we started vending at Farmers' Markets near us and it was then we realized we had something we wanted to share with the world.

Since then, our family has been on a mission to provide diabetics and EVERYONE with our version of Mason’s favorite nighttime snack. Peanut butter is a great go-to low glucose snack for Type-1 diabetics. Filled with protein. Our nut butters are handcrafted, small batch and made with lots of love. Each year we donate a portion of our profits to Breakthrough T1D, one of the largest and most impactful diabetic research and educational foundations.

Our family started Bussin Butters with the goal of making a significant impact on not only their community, but the world. As a company we have been lucky enough to be a part of and raise money for a cause close to our families hearts. We strive to build a product for the betterment of humanity and raise as much funds as we can to fight the battle against T1D.
